Victoria Kelly is a photographer and journalist who has travelled widely for work and pleasure, always with a camera by her side. She sees the camera as a creative tool that enables her to depict the world as she sees it. She is particularly interested in photographing people and places, and in finding pattern and art in the landscapes around her. More recently, Victoria has rekindled her love of analogue photography, setting up a dark room in her studio at home in Lusaka where she hand develops medium format film as well as black and white prints. She is enjoying the slowness of film photography, which she says forces her to be patient and think more carefully about what she is trying to convey with the camera.
